Attitude

On friday we (year 10's) were crammed into the gym to hear a attitude presentation on something that affects us all, technology. Attitude is a organisation that goes around to schools in New Zealand talking to students about things that need to be talked about. Technology is a big issue in our lives now. The attitude talk covered how we can bully through text, Facebook, youtube and get bullied through those things too. Jordan (the presenter) brought a funny and serious side to such a huge topic. While covering sexting, suicidal rates, our digital footprints, applying for jobs, and many more while throwing in some humour too. The main message we all got from this presentation was to be careful what we say and do to other people as it can have an ever lasting effect on

What I am reading ?

Im currently reading catching fire. Its ok. Its pretty slow at the moment. I love the characters and the way suzanne collins paints the 'picture'. I don't know really it just the type of book isn't what I usually read, andI know everyone says it something everyone can relate to but Im kinda thinking the hunger games series is a one hit wonder.

But the again, the characters alone make me want to read. So far what i read is just katniss realising her forever fate and everyone (haymitch, peeta , etc) going on tour. I think the only thing really is making keep reading is how this is another book. Athough i tknow what happens. But i just want to know how it happens. Gah im tired of writing this now I

Well, I honestly tried everything, roped my dad into helping but he got angry and left. Sorry its not very good but im really bad at poems.

My tv is my heart and soul.
Its everything without i am not whole
With the flick of a switch
Or the push of a button, it turns on without a glitch.

It has Every programm good or bad
Even the ads which makes me mad
Hd tv, crystal clear
even when you get near.

The sound so loud it blows me away
Nearly blew me into monday!
When it's time to sleep, flick the switch
No sound, no picture just pitch black.

Best teacher

I have had some extremly bad teachers over the years, and some really good ones. This year, although i've had some really good teachers like miss kelly ;), miss cottee, ms mason. My favourite teacher still has to be my year 8 teacher miss irwin. Yes many people have called her to stricked (can't spell) and so on. But most of them are either stupid or naughty. Just saying! Anyway the reasons I loved her as my teacher was well her passion for greatness. Although some times I felt like dying, everytime she pushed me I felt like I improved and she pushed for greatness not just in her favourite subject art, but also in english, math and oh the wall displays! Another reason was her organisation. Maybe it because the year before I felt I had a really badly organised teacher but she always had everything in the right place at the right time. Also I loved how she did poetry. I learnt some amazing things. Also how she always had books on our topic which were really interesting. Also how she couldnt use a computer! Although we hardly used the 'smart board ' thing, we still learnt alot! I could literally go on for ever. Although I wasnt the teachers pet, I felt she tried to treat every one equally.

To conclude, she is the best freakin' teacher I have ever had :)

Olympics.

The greatest moment olympic history would have to be mr bean because its so damn funny, but aside from that the greatest moment in olympic history would be a jamacian team simply qualifing for the 1988 winter olympic games and later on winning a gold medal in 2000 for bobsleding that right. BOBSLEDING! And its a great moment because it shows great courage even compete next highly ranked teams even if they didnt win. I mean they trained on concrete in a warm country. It just truly shows the anything is possible in the olympics and if you put your mind to it anything is plausable. Although mr bean will still forever win my heart over and be the greatest moment in history
